This October has also been a good month.

We also expect to have a good November.

  • From Thanksgivings to January, our results will decrease.

This Christmas will be tough.

  • Regarding Pageviews, of course (we love Christmas).

But, at this point, we have to enjoy the good months we have.

Let’s analyze our results from October.

If you want to check all our Monthly Posts, as well as all the Posts we’ve published related with our SEO strategy, results, Plugins…

As in the previous month, we’ll divide this Post into 7 different parts:

1. Evolution of the results of our website during the last 18 months.

  • Clicks, Rankings, Impressions, Traffic Channels, Users and Page Views.

2. Modifications carried out this last month.

3. Main Queries that have led users to our website in the last 18 months.

4. Our Best Pages.

5. Our Worst page.

6. Main countries that visited our website in the last month.

7. How much we earn with AdSense.

Let’s begin:

1. Evolution of the results of our website during the last 18 months.

Total Impressions and Average position evolution.

Our Impressions have improved, as well as our Average position.

In our previous monthly Post, we highlighted that our Average position was relatively stable.

  • In August it was 26 and in September it was 25.1.

In October it improved from 25.1 to 23.4.

  • A remarkable improvement.

Traffic Channels:

While our Organic traffic has remained constant, our Referral and Social traffic has increased a little bit.

Remember, we don’t promote our Site in any way so, our Users are sharing more our content.

  • Which is good news.

Users received:

The solid line represents Users received in October – The dotted one represents September.

As we mentioned, our traffic has increased and, therefore, the amount of users we received.

  • We have 11,000 Users per month.

Total Pageviews per month:

We have met our goal of reaching 15,000 Pageviews this by the end of October.

Let’s compare these results with what we got last month:

  • 46% increase in Pageviews.
  • 44% increase in Sessions.
  • 4% increase in Average Session Duration.
  • 1% increase in Bounce Rate.

Our Average Session Duration seems to be improving but our Bounce Rate is not good.

  • We definitely have to decrease it.

2. Modifications carried out this last month.

Nothing.

3. Main Queries that have led users to our website in the last 18 months.

Last month, people became interested in “resources and capabilities.”

  • That is why we now see this Query in our Top 3.

For the first time in months we don’t have a Page Speed related Query in our Top 3.

  • The “fcp issue longer than 3 seconds” Query.

* Take into account that these are our results from the last 18 months.

4. Our Best Pages.

No remarkable news in our most popular pages.

However, it’s been for few Clicks so, we can’t draw any conclusions.

5. Our Worst page.

We have a “new” worst page:

We consider it to be a very interesting page with information on what requirements a Start-Up must meet to become a viable company.

The problem is: This Page doesn’t answer any particular Query.

  • People don’t Search for this Topic.

6. Main countries that visited our website in the last month.

No news here.

India continues to be the country that visits us the most, followed by the United States and the Philippines.

We are happy to see France in our Top 10.

  • It is the first time (if we’re not wrong).

7. How much we earn with AdSense.

As we told you, we would like to share all of our AdSense results with you.

However, we’re not sure we can do it.

  • Google’s  Terms of service tells you not to share performance metrics.
    • And we want to 100% comply with Google’s terms and conditions.

As we did in our previous monthly Post, we’ll tell you this:

  • This October, we have earned enough for buying 4 beers.

It is one more beer per month compared to our previous month.

  • A 33% increase is not bad.

We have not yet reached the payment threshold.

  • So, by now, our earnings are zero, technically speaking.

Will the day come when our earnings are enough to go to dinner at a good restaurant?

Only time will tell.
