These last few weeks, our numbers seemed to improve.

However, this past week, things have changed.

Our traffic is increasing, but noticeably slower than compared to our increases before Christmas.

We’ll now analyze and compare our data.

If you want to check all our Monthly Posts, as well as all our Posts

1. Evolution of the results of our website.

  • Clicks, Rankings, Impressions, Users and Page Views.

2. Traffic Channels.

3. Modifications carried out this past Month.

4. Main countries that visited our website in the last month.

5. How much we earn with AdSense.

Let’s begin:

1. Evolution of the results of our website.

Total Impressions and Average position evolution.

This graph is “misleading” because here, our impressions appear to have increased at the same rate as they did before Christmas.

However, if you look at the “minimums” you’ll see that our Impressions before Christmas grew at higher rates:

See how, even if the Green Lines (maximum weekly Impressions) have “constant” slopes, the Red line (touching the minimum weekly impressions in November-December) is much steeper than the Purple one (this past March).

Users Received:

The solid line represents Users received in March – The dotted one represents February.

As you can see, we received 15.5% more Users in March compared to those received in February.

Pageviews per month:

However, and here comes the “problem”, our Pageviews only increased by 6%.

  • How is it possible that our users increased 15% but our page views only increased 6%?

We also had a remarkable 12% increase in Average Session duration.

2. Traffic Channels.

Our Direct and Referral Traffic have increased from 8.6% to 12.6%.

  • We have received more Direct Users that visited just 1 Single Page.

That is Why our Users increased more than our Pageviews.

And why didn’t our users visit more pages?

  • We don’t know.

Maybe, this is a seasonal Trend…

Or maybe we just can’t sustain a 30% increase in Pageviews per month “ad eternum”.

3. Modifications carried out this past Month.

In March, we became Eligible to place Matched Content Ad units on our site.

Therefore, we have inserted them.

  • You will see them at the Bottom of this Publication.

We wrote a Page about How we Became Eligible and How to set Them up.

4. Main countries that visited our website in the last month.

Our main visiting countries are exactly the same as last month.

5. How much we earn with AdSense.

Even if our traffic hasn’t increased remarkably, our earnings have increased a 33% (approx):

  • We have earned enough to buy 8 beers.

As we usually tell you:

By now, we don’t share our AdSense results because, as we share all of our Analytics and Search Console data, we don’t know if there might be a problem in sharing our AdSense earnings as well.

  • You are allowed to share them, but not your metrics. That is why we doubt.

Remember: if you are interested in our SEO Strategy, which Theme, Plugins… we use, we recommend you to visit our “Website Building and SEO Diary” section.

  • There, you’ll find a very useful Index with all our publications sorted by Topic treated.
