As you may already know if you’ve been following this Diary, we use KLEO Theme.

  • Today, we’ll share our experience with it.

In case you don’t know, in this section we talk about How we are building this Website: our SEO strategy, Theme and Plugins we use, our Real Results (Pageviews and Users we have)…

This Post will be divided into 2 parts:

1. KLEO Theme review based on our experience.

2. Today’s Google Analytics report with Users and Pageviews.

Let’s Begin:

1. KLEO Theme review based on our experience.

Why did we choose KLEO Theme?

As we’ve told you several times, our intention is creating a free open environment for entrepreneurs, where they can share their experiences, knowledge… and many other things.

We then discovered BuddyPress: A Plugin that allow you to “create” a community with personal accounts, private messages, Forums, etc.

KLEO Theme is specifically designed for being compatible with BuddyPress and many other “social” Plugins like Contact Forms, bbPress…

Moreover, it included many interesting Plugins, Demo data… and it is very well ranked on Envato market (the best social-oriented Theme) with thousands of downloads.

Then, we acquired it.

What does KLEO Theme include?

First of all, it generates a KLEO Panel within the Appearance Tab (wordpress side menu) where you can have access to all its content and status:

One think we liked is that it encourages you to use its Child Theme (included, of course) in order not to lose all the modifications you made to the Theme when updating it.

As you can see, you have:

  • Tab for Importing Data from “pre-designed” websites.
  • Tab with all the Add-ons included.
  • A tab for KLEO settings.

Within the “Import Demo Data”:

It seems the “Themes” Menu from WordPress.

You have 26 different complete simulated Websites, for different purposes (Travels, Geo-locations, e-commerce…).

You can:

  • Import them completely so you can change everything you want.
  • Importing just certain parts.

To be honest, we have not used this option since we wanted a very simple site structure, but the appearance of the different demo-websites is very good. it may save you a lot of time.

Add-ons included:

Within the Add-ons menu, you’ll find all the Plugins included with the Theme and their status (and the Child Theme):

The Add-Ons included (on version are:

  • KLEO Child Theme.
  • K-Elements.
  • Stax Header builder.
  • BuddyPress.
  • BP Profile Search.
  • Contact Forms 7.
  • Envato Market Theme Updates.
  • Essential Grid.
  • Geodirectory.
  • Go Pricing.
  • KLEO Monetizer.
  • MailChimp for WordPress.
  • Paid Memberships pro.
  • Revolution Slider.
  • Sensei.
  • Sidebar Generator.
  • Social Articles.
  • WPBakery page builder.
  • WooCommerce.
  • YITH WooCommerce Whishlist.
  • bbPress.
  • rtMedia.

As you can see, there are plenty of Plugins, some of them, premium (like WP.Bakery or Slider Revolution, for example).

KLEO Theme Settings:

One other think that KLEO generates we love, is a nice Theme “Settings” Menu:

It allows you to modify practically everything from your Child Theme in an easy way.

  • Including certain BuddyPress options.

KLEO Compatibility:

  • KLEO is also 100% compatible with everything we have tried so far (Monster Insights, Pexel, Autoptimize and many other Plugins, including Meta description plugins).

Support Team from KLEO (seventhqueen development team):

  • We have not used it so far, so we can’t give you our personal experience.

$59: We are not experts in Themes.

  • Maybe some expert reading this says: “it is a lot of money for just those Add-Ons, there are better options…”.

We really can’t compare with other options since we have started our Website 2 months and a half ago.

Nevertheless, for us: $59 for all that content seems a fair price (it is a dinner for 2 and will last much more).

  • With all this information, is up to you giving it a chance.

2. Today’s Google Analytics report with Users and Pageviews.

Our website has been active for: 2 months and 12 days since we started it from scratch.

Here we share with you all we are doing, our strategies, main actions taken… so you can learn from our mistakes.

Let’s see how is it going:

As you can see in the Post’s top picture, yesterday we had 9 users.

Yesterday’s pageviews: 9. We had 1 pageview per user.

Maybe we should start thinking about how engaging more our users, so they explore other different pages once they are inside.

  • We’ll think about it.

By now, we continue with our original strategy: just writing good contend and doing zero promotion, so we can have pure accurate data about what are people looking for when they find our website.

As always, thanks for being there.

We’ll rest this weekend so, see you on Monday.
