Today, we want to share our experience with Contact Form 7: A Plugin that allows you to create  Customized Contact Forms easily (not sponsored, of course).

As you may already know, we like simple-to-use Plugins that require zero programming skills.

Let’s see how this Plugin works and whether it is worth it or not.

In case you don’t know, in this section we talk about our experience while building this Website: our SEO strategy, Themes, Plugins we use…

As usual, this Post will be divided into 2 different parts:

1. Our experience with Contact Forms 7.

  • Is it worth it or not?

2. Today’s Google Analytics report; Users and Pageviews we currently have.

Let’s begin:

1. Our experience with Contact Forms 7.

Contact Form 7 Claims to be a Simple and flexible Plugin that creates Contact Forms in a simple way.

Why did we need a Contact Form Plugin?

We wanted to create a Contact Form for our Business Analysis Request section in order to allow our users to send us their projects so we can advise them by sharing our impressions and thoughts.

  • As we mentioned earlier, we wanted an easy-to-use yet flexible Plugin.

We found Contact Form 7 and, to be honest, we were surprised about its effectiveness and simplicity.

Why?

You can create as many Fields as you need and the mail sent to you will have the configuration you want.

How does it work?

Let’s see our own Contact Form:

It works with a “text area” editor:

It seems a bit difficult but trust us: it is not.

You only need to maintain the <label> structure and add the different [Fields] with the “blue buttons” you can see in the image.

  • Check the [text* your-username] Field in the picture.

What you write after the <label> is up to you.

  • For example, we wrote “Username (if you are not registered yet….)”.

If you want to add a new Field, for example a Text Box, you just press the “text” button and name it.

That is all.

Then, you only have to “close” the <label> with </label> for each Field.

The result is automatically generated by Contact Form 7:

You “insert” the Form wherever you want with a little “Shortcode:

  • A “code” that Contact Form 7 generates for each Contact Form created.
    • They look like this: [contact form IDs “Title of your Contact Form”]

You just Copy and Paste it wherever you want.

What will your Users receive?

You can configure the e-mail automatically sent to your Users for all possible situations.

  • When the mail is successfully sent.
  • When the message failed.
  • etc.

And what happens with all the information?

This is the best part of Contact Form 7: you can easily configure how you will receive all the information.

  • To which e-mail.
  • Which Fields.
  • What structure all this information will have.
  • etc, etc.

Here you can configure the mail you’ll receive.

Then, you’ll receive a Customized mail with the Fields and structure you want.

  • For example; you may ask for 20 Fields but, you want to receive a mail with the 5 most important Fields.

You just write the common structure and place the [Fields] you want to know wherever you want.

Conclusion: Is Contact Form 7 worth it?

Absolutely.

It requires just 5 minutes to learn how it works, and the results are solid and professional.

2. Today’s Google Analytics report; Users and Pageviews we currently have.

Our numbers keep increasing.

Users:

As you can see in the Post’s top picture, we have consolidated the +400 users per week.

  • Now, our target is to reach 500 users per week.

Pageviews:

Our pageviews have also increased accordingly.

  • If you follow this Diary you’ll know that, our current target is to increase our Pageviews/Session from 1.3 to 1.4 (in a good day).

As always, thanks for being there!
