This January (2020) has been an interesting month.

After a”terrible” December (check our previous monthly post; 8 months special) we have experienced a remarkable improvement in Users and Pageviews.

As always, we’ll divide this Post into different sections:

1. Our Website’s results’ evolution during these last 9 months.

  • Clicks, Ranking, Impressions, Users and Pageviews/User.

2. Main Queries that lead users to our website.

3. Our Best Pages.

4. Our Worst page.

5. Main countries visiting our website.

Let’s begin:

1. Our Website’s results’ evolution during these last 9 months.

Check how our Impressions increased this January.

* Google Search Console changed the Average Position‘s color from purple to orange.

  • Also, the color of the Impressions changed also from light blue to purple.

As mentioned earlier, this January has been a “good month”.

Users received:

The continuous line represents Users received in January while the dotted one represents December.

This January, we have received 1,600 users.

  • Our record, so far.

Pages/Session:

Our Pages/Session have not increased.

Have we done anything different?

  • We have tried to write more concisely.
  • We also have “spaced” our old publications by adding spaces between their paragraphs (not modifying their content).

With these modifications, we intend to improve the “readability” of our Site.

By now, we have not noticed any improvement regarding Pages per Session.

Total Pageviews per month:

Let’s compare these numbers with that we had in our last monthly-special Post (8 months special):

  • 50% increase in Pageviews.
  • 59% increase in Sessions.
  • 27% decrease in Average Session Duration.
  • 4% increase in Bounce Rate.

We are not happy with those “Average Session Duration” and “Bounce Rate” numbers, of course.

But we have reached 2,000 Pageviews per months so, we have something to celebrate.

2. Main Queries that lead users to our website.

This January, the Queries related to “Bad Backlinks”, “Errors” and “Speed problems” have increased remarkably.

What happened?

We think that, on Christmas, lots of Website owners forget about their Sites for few days and, when they enter their Google Analytics and Google Search Console in January, they find things they don’t like related to:

  • Backlinks.
  • Errors.
  • Speed Issues.

3. Our Best Pages.

Check how our “Increase your Page Speed” page has obtained such a good result.

  • The Queries that lead users to that publication were related to problems experienced by our users.
    • As we mentioned earlier.

4. Our Worst page.

5. Main countries visiting our website.

This January, India has surpassed USA as our “main visiting country”.
