This March, has been a turbulent month.

  • The Coronavirus crisis has affected us all in some way.

It’s been a bit more difficult to concentrate with everything that is going on: confinements, terrible news…

Generating high quality content is something difficult; you need to be very focused, and now, that is almost impossible.

We hope you are all safe and healthy. That is the most important.

  • Take care of your family and stay home. This nightmare will be over soon.

But life goes on, and today we have to publish our 11th Monthly special Post.

If you want to check all our Monthly Posts, as well as all the Posts we’ve published related with our SEO strategy, results, Plugins… Visit our “Website Building and SEO Diary” Page.

  • There you will find all our SEO-related content perfectly ordered by Topic treated (Reviews, Tips, How Google Search Console works, etc).

We’ll divide this 11th monthly publication into 6 different sections:

1. Our Website’s results’ evolution during these last 11 months.

  • Clicks, Rankings, Impressions, Users and Pages/Session.

2. Modifications carried out this last month.

  • And what impact they had.

3. Main Queries that lead users to our website.

4. Our Best Pages.

  • And which ones increased their Average Positions.

5. Our Worst page.

6. Main countries visiting our website.

Let’s begin:

1. Our Website’s results’ evolution during these last 11 months.

Total Impressions and Average position evolution.

As you can appreciate in the image above, our Impressions decreased in the second week of March (we don’t know if it was due to the Coronavirus crisis) but now, our numbers are increasing again.

  • Now, our global Average position is 36.1 and last month it was 38.4 (check our “10 months special Post“).

Users received:

The continuous line represents Users received in March while the dotted one represents February.

We currently receive 2,600 Users per month and 3,000 Sessions.

  • It is our best  result so far.

Last month we had 2,200 Users and 2,500 Sessions.

Pages/Session:

  • Again, we don’t see any change in this variable.

Total Pageviews per month:

  • We receive 3,991 Pageviews per month.

If we compare these results to that we had in our last monthly post, we have:

  • 36% increase in Pageviews.
  • 26% increase in Sessions.
  • 11% increase in Average Session Duration.
  • 3% decrease in Bounce Rate.

Again, all our “main” indicators have improved.

2. Modifications carried out this last month.

We have not made any changes to our website in March.

  • We just published new content.

3. Main Queries that lead users to our website.

As we mentioned in our  82nd Post (“The impact of Coronavirus on our Pageviews“) our Scenario Planning page has received a remarkable increase in Pageviews and Users these last 3 weeks.

  • In the image above, you can appreciate how the Query “scenario planning example”  is now our third most popular Query while in our last monthly special post, it was not even in our Top 4.

Here you can see it’s performance:

The evolution of our “Scenario Planning” page.

4. Our Best Pages.

Regarding our absolute best publications, there are no changes compared to last month.

  • These are our accumulated results of the last 11 months; that is why our Scenario Planning page has not outperformed these 4 Pages yet.

5. Our Worst page.

We have a new “worst page”: Our “How to be a leader” publication.

We don’t understand why our “how to be a leader” page is not having better results.

  • It is a funny page where we share the behaviors we have observed in the best leaders that we have met in our professional lives.
    • … and we have met many successful people.

Maybe, it is an “excessively popular” Topic.

6. Main countries visiting our website.

This last month, USA surpassed India as our top “visiting” country.

Remember: if you are interested in our SEO Strategy, which Theme, Plugins… we use, we recommend you to visit our “Website Building and SEO Diary” section.
