Today, we want to talk about something that surprised us the first time it happened to us.
From time to time, our Real-time-users Blue box, in our Google Analytics Homepage, doesn’t work.
- It doesn’t show our Real-time users.
- What is going on?
- Why is this happening?
In case you don’t know, in this section we talk about How we are building this Website: our SEO strategy, Theme and Plugins we use, our Real Results (Pageviews and Users we have)…
- You’ll find an Index with all our Posts sorted by Topic here: “Website building and SEO Diary“.
As usual, this Post will be divided into 2 different sections:
1. Why is our Google Analytics Real time not working?
2. Our today’s Google Analytics report: Users and Page Views we have.
Let’s begin:
1. Why is our Google Analytics Real time not working?
The problem is this:
1. We enter our Google Analytics Home page.
Active users right Now Box at Google Analytics Main menu.
Our Active users right now Box is empty.
- What worries us.
Didn’t we have a single user in the last 30 minutes?
2. We enter our Google Analytics Real-time Side menu.
Google Analytics Real-time side menu.
3. We check the Overview option.
Google Analytics Real-time Page Views per minute
Here, we find out that, we have had 3 users in the last 30 minutes, indeed.
The “Active users right now” blue Box is not working.
Why?
We don’t know.
But sometimes it happens.
- We assume that Google introduces some modifications, changes, etc.
So, next time your “Active users right now” Blue box shows nothing, check your Real-time Page views per minute.
- If your problem is more serious, you should ask Google support. Of course.
2. Our today’s Google Analytics report: Users and Page Views we have.
As you can see in the Post’s top mage, our numbers have decreased a bit, compared to our last week.
Users:
Last week, we reached 1,000 users per week.
- However, now we have 960 users per week. A little less.
He hope to reach those 1,000 users per week again in the next few days.
Page Views:
We currently have 5,886 Pageviews per month.
- As we mentioned last week, our current goal is to secure +200 Page views per day.
Together, we can do it.
As always: thanks for being there.
